Well, this is a problem with python installation. Before this didn't happen.
Have you the maemo repository added?
It is:
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org
Distribution: bora
Components: free non-free

Please, might you answer if this solves the problem?

Best regards.

thanks, this is very useful reference to have.

one improvement might be a back button on the new windows that popup.

also isotope data would be useful, but maybe that should be a whole new application.

Nice app.

A few comments:
1) Better titles on each window so that you can easily determine which one you want to pick when multiple windows are grouped together on the toolbar. Right now I have the main window, the graphics window and an elements details window open and the options when I tap the toolbar icon are : MaemoPeriodic - Mercury, MaemoPeriodic -, MaemoPeriodic. So the first on is good but the other two are ambiguous.

2) Termal conductivity should be Thermal Conductivity

3) The graphs disappear when you switch away from them and then back. That window is not being refreshed properly when the focus is back on it.

4) The text in the element details is alligned oddly. Because the last "origin" line is usually long and unwrapped, centering the text makes it aligned off to the right and sometimes you have to scroll to see the values of a short line. The value_label:value pairs should be aligned at the ":" and the long text should be wrapped to avoid the horizonal scroll bar.
